Dr Federico Sancho Coming to Birmingham

The British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2018 will provide copious learning opportunities for all members of the dental team.

Among the world-class speakers presenting on an array of topics will be Dr Federico Moreno Sancho, who will discuss the treatment of teeth that have vertical bone defects through using regenerative surgery. He comments:

“In my presentation, I will describe the biological principles of periodontal regeneration, as well as the rationale, indications and contraindications. I will also explore the techniques that are available and the patient-, tooth- and defect-related factors that can affect patient outcomes for periodontal treatment.

“The management of teeth with vertical bone defects often represents a challenge. However, these teeth may be successfully treated through sensibly planned regenerative surgery. I will illustrate, through clinical examples, the factors that most require careful assessment so that suitable cases can be identified for successful periodontal regeneration. In addition, I will consider the limits of what can be achieved with this type of therapy.”
