International lecturer, Sanjay Sethi is presenting a session entitled “A retrospective clinical review on Lava Zirconia restorations over the last decade” in the BACD Aesthetic and Digital Dentist Theatre at the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2018.
“Zirconia first made an impact on the UK dental market around 2005 and since this time its use has gone from strength to strength. With a high flexural strength, fracture toughness, translucency and aesthetics it is an extremely popular choice. However, it is not without its problems and there have been some steep learning curves to be climbed. I believe that we are still understanding this material and my presentation is about making delegates more aware of their choices. It should also provide a comfort zone for some and reassurance for others.
