Leonora Ward, Business Development Manager from Eurodontic Ltd, will be speaking in the Dental Nurse Forum at the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2018. About her session entitled “Under Pressure”, she says:
“Dental nurses should know the difference between a well made appliance and an appliance that is not formed or finished correctly. They should know how to look after the appliance and how to identify patients who need something a bit different from the normal.
“My presentation will be beneficial to anyone currently making retainers or bleaching trays within their practice or looking at this option for the future. It will cover popular machine technology used in the manufacture of appliances and how they produce different results, highlighting the importance of choosing the right materials and manufacturing techniques.
“I hope delegates will benefit from knowledge of the additional skills they can learn, while their patients will benefit from fast turnaround times for appliances in the surgery.
“I would encourage dental nurses to attend the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show for the education and enhancement to their skill base through learning from colleagues and peers.”
