Sally Masters, a Foundation Dentist at Rodericks Dental’s Chipping Manor Practice in Wotton-under-edge, has been awarded the Pitt-Ford Prize by the British Endodontic Society (BES) in recognition of her outstanding work in endodontics throughout her final undergraduate year in Bristol.
“I’m delighted to have won this award,” she says. “Endodontics is the field I have worked hardest in as I wanted as much experience and confidence with it as possible. It’s also great to receive a free year’s membership for the BES and I’m really looking forward toattending their annual conference and Gala Dinner next month.”
About her FD year with Rodericks Dental, she adds:
“I enjoy working within Rodericks – it’s very patient-focused. The whole practice team is amazing and supportive: there is a lovely team-working ethos and a real culture of celebrating the successes of individuals, especially from our practice manager, Alison, and my educational supervisors, Manisha and Lucy.
“I find it comforting to be part of the wider network of a corporate as well, as there are so many opportunities for networking and career progression – I would really like to remain with the group beyond my FD year.”
