Fran Lewis is an experienced dental receptionist working at Wrington Dental Practice in North Somerset. She has been using the CS R4+ practice management software from Carestream Dental for many years:
“The R4+ system is an invaluable asset. It provides good communication for the whole dental team because we can all access the diary and patients’ notes, and it enables us to offer great customer service.
“For me, one of the best features is being able to call up a patient simply by using the first initial of their first name, surname or their date of birth. It’s particularly useful for patients where English is not their first language or they use complicated spellings, and reduces the need to ask a patient to keep repeating themselves.
“The yellow ‘post it’ notes that pop up on patients’ records are also great for keeping other team members informed. We use these for reminders but also to relay sensitive information such as if a patient has suffered a bereavement.
“We also find that the traffic light system on CS R4+ works very well – it helps to keep the flow of patients travelling through the practice running smoothly.”
