The countdown to the ADI Team Congress 2019 has begun and we are delighted to be sharing more and more exciting details with you over the next few months.
With something for everyone, this will be thedental implant event of the year, so make sure you don’t miss out! The presentations will help delegates prepare for the challenges of modern dentistry and advance their knowledge and skills in relevant areas. The educational programme will offer a wealth of fresh ideas and inspiration for all members of the dental team, with up to 19.5 hours of verifiable CPD and plenty of networking opportunities available throughout.
A line-up of world-renowned speakers will be presented. Among these will be Daniele Cardaropoli, a Doctor in Dentistry with a Certificate in Periodontology from the University of Torino, Italy. Winner of the Goldman Award from the Italian Society of Periodontology and of the National Award of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, he is also the author of several published peer-review papers and books, and he runs a private practice in Torino.
Daniele will be discussing “Hard and Soft Tissue Management for the Aesthetic Outcome Around Immediate Implants” in the plenary programme at the ADI Team Congress 2019. About the challenges faced in this field of dental implantology, he says:
“The topic of immediate dental implant placement is important for dentists right now because there are many clinical situations where it is challenging to work in fresh extraction sockets. We need to obtain the best clinical outcomes, both in terms of function and aesthetics. As we are commonly operating in the anterior zone, effective soft tissue control in order to ensure optimal architecture of the mucosal tissues is essential.
“There are several risks that come with immediate dental implant treatment following extraction of a hopeless tooth, which need to be minimised. We need to do this while achieving clinical acceptable results and meeting the demands of the patient.”
During his lecture, Daniele will explore the healing process of post-extraction sites, the rationale behind grafting procedures and the indications of immediate dental implant placement and immediate restoration. He continues:
“Delegates should understand that we have the opportunity to deliver excellent treatment outcomes to our patients with immediate implant placement and immediate restoration. The message will be that if you want to maintain the original soft tissue profile and if you are able to obtain primary stability of the dental implant, choose immediate placement and immediate restoration.
“I hope that by following the advice and guidance I will offer in my lecture, delegates will be able to improve their daily clinical practise by providing improved solutions for the treatment of fresh extraction sockets in the aesthetic area.”
The theme throughout the ADI Team Congress 2019 will be “Shaping the Future of Dental Implantology: Techniques – Technologies – Teamwork”. The comprehensive programme will explore a wide range of subjects in different areas of dental implantology. The major exhibition will complement the education, with company representatives on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations. What’s more, the Corporate Forums and legendary Congress Dinner at the National Museum of Scotland will add even more to the event, enabling you to catch up with friends and meet new people.
