The ADI Members’ National Forum is just one of many educational events provided to members of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). Occurring every two years, it offers a stimulating programme to help members refine and broaden their knowledge of cutting-edge concepts, technologies and materials in the dental implantology field

This year’s Forum will be held on Saturday 23 November 2019 at the Royal College of Physicians, London. With preparations in full swing, the event will welcome a varied line-up of speakers covering a diverse range of relevant topics, as well as a number of company members in the exhibition.

Stephen Jones, ADI Treasurer and Chair of the Members’ National Forum Sub-Committee, is one of several professionals involved in the organisation of the 2019 event. Here he shares what delegates can expect.

“We are hoping to follow on from a very successful ADI Team Congress in order to continue engaging with our membership. While the programme is still currently being assembled, we are looking to maybe introduce exciting new dimensions to the event that could enable even more people to get involved.

“Regarding topics, we plan to focus on two general areas – dental implant surgery including the basic biological science and restorative implant dentistry including clinical audit. New innovations in materials, techniques and marketing as well as developing the dental implant practice may also feature.

“Our speaker line-up will be chosen from submissions following our call for papers among members and we will look to include a balance of expertise and genders. There will be 24 speakers on the day, presenting in two parallel streams of 12. They will be placed into eight groups of three, with some commonality between the three. Moderated discussions will once again be held after each of the groups to provide delegates the opportunity to ask their own questions and get involved.”

The ADI Members’ National Forum 2019 is set to be another thought-provoking and informative educational opportunity for ADI members. Join today to make the most of this and many other membership benefits and be sure to save the date in your diary!
